Hello and welcome to my blog: a motley selection of news, reviews and musings from my writing life.

I’ve just finished a Masters in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway. When things go to plan (HA!) I work on my novel in the mornings, which is about this old French bloke <–, and in the afternoons I write scripts and develop ideas for an apps company specialising in stories and games for kids. I’ve posted my film, book and bookshop reviews (some published in print or online, others just for fun) as well as a series on the best places to write in London. To keep me on the right track, I’m logging some of the lines and passages I’ve dog-eared from my reading, plus some bits and bobs I’ve found on the internet that fire up that elusive desire to write.
